Name: Kin (Charlie and many other aliases)
Username: Kin
Age: 154
Note: Average life span is 800, growth rate takes roughly 20 years so despite being the human equivalent to a 19 year old, he's physically fully mature. He's only been on earth for a decade, the rest was just traveling through space since he was born.
Powers:
Transformed -
Transmogrification - His species gained the capability to immediately mimic the organisms it has seen so that it may defend itself and lure in prey. He must SEE the organism in the flesh before he can transform into it. He will gain their strength and skills, however he is unable to do anything like copy memories or exact personality. Mimicking their personality is entirely on his own.
Goop -
Survivalist - In the half-solid goop state, he can only be killed by starvation. He can survive through extreme temperatures (built up for space travel) his body cannot be torn in two by ordinary means as well. However, all of this is sacrificed when he is in a transformed state which is almost necessary to do anything like communicating and moving at an efficient pace.
Stomach Acids - In his goop state, his body is capable of breaking down and absorbing organic beings that are in contact with it. This is his method of 'eating'. 'Eating' in the human manner would not work since it would kind of just stay in his 'stomach' and not get melted down until he reverts to the goop-form. This process is extremely painful, and there is no 'off' switch save for transforming. He can ONLY melt down organic and living things however.
Expand and Contract - The goop is capable of stretching and contracting itself, making himself able to turn into small things like a fly or big things like an elephant.
Weaknesses:
Transformed -
First Impressions - his species is forced to keep a quality or two of the very first thing they turn into when they land on the planet throughout their transformations. Char's first transformation was a Mountain Sheep so he has a small set of horns on his head and all fur and hair will be colored white and may take on a clean woolly-texture.
Note: This defense mechanism, though now a hindrance due to the diversity of Earth, is a quick-hiding mechanism to blend with their planet in case there is danger. They are capable of transforming into the first-impression almost instantaneously while normal transformations take about five or so seconds.
Exact Copy - When Charlie is in a Transformed form, he can be killed as the normal form would. Say he was a bug and you squashed him, he'd die. If he reverts to his goo state just on the brink of death he wont be able to transform for a while.
Bio-shock - If electrocuted by a high voltage, he will lose his structure and revert to his goop-form.
Goop-
Goopy - When he's reverted to his semi-solid goop form, he is incapable of doing much of anything. He can fling himself around and crawl the heck out of where he is or pass through metal gratings, but he does not have any strength to pull or push or even hold onto something. He's like those goop-in a cup toys that make fart noises when you press your thumb on them.
Species: Ja'ksar (Alien Parasite, holy shit it's not human)
Three (or more) Personality Traits:
-Curious
-Observant
-Naive
Three (or more) Personality Flaws:
-Nosy
-Extremely Territorial (Species Instincts)
-Sensitive
Picture or description of the character:
As a pile of goop, his color is a pure white form due to the sheep-first impression. He ALWAYS has a set of curved horns though it varies in size with each transformation though its hide-able with hoodies and hats. If he's repeatedly meeting with someone he favors or is strolling about in general he'll often take the form of his 'default' human which is a younger version of the first person that convinced him that Humans were intelligent and taught him right from wrong.
That default is a young boy that looks to be about 13-14ish, his hair is always white and the horns are always there of course. If he's meeting with someone he does not trust then he will take the form of either an animal or he will copy the look of the other person.
Note: He is not 'male' but I will be referring to him as a 'he' for the sheer fact that I am terrible at using 'it'. I don't like 'it'. It's de-humanizing. F*ck off 'it' nobody likes you. I don't care if Kin isn't even human. Nobody deserves to be called 'it'.
Any special skills: Depends on who he transformed into
Any weapons:
Group:
I request assistance with deciding this. My character refuses to kill humans, however anything that is not human he will kill without hesitation. Whether it's his own kind, some dog, or a robot that used to be human. Would he be a hero or a vigilante? 0-o

"...Gai?" A small girl whispered.
"Yeah Urani?" The older boy responded in the same hushed tone.
"Why do the Ministers take people into The Temple?" she inquired, looking up to Gai with a quizzical expression.
A strained hiss of silence was ordered from a nearby adult, "Show some respect!" the adult whispered with a glare, "Street rats.." they spat before looking back down to the arena of the sandy stone stadium.
The audience of the spectacle were silent, as a man stood in the middle of the arena, facing a large door that connected to a large extravagant temple with intricate carvings along the outside. The temple was quite a work of art, towering over the people as if it were some supreme deity, guiding, protecting, watching, controlling, or even mockingly the lesser beings. At its foot near the entrance, four doors lay before it along the circular walls of the arena. Each door the same sandstone color of the arena, forming the pattern of a star if straight lines were made to each door, but each one bearing different designs vaguely representing the elements of Earth.
It was not long after the two children were hushed, that all doors but the entrance to the temple itself creaked open. Four elders stepped out from their chambers, each one dressed in white with differently colored trims, one red, one brown, one dark blue, and one light blue. The four elders surrounded the man in every way but the temple, before the ancient with the red trim spoke, "Itarr," a pause, "you have been selected for the heavenly service."
The brown trim, "You will be taken into the temple, what lies beyond there we cannot say."
The dark blue trim, "We give to you the chance to free yourself of your sins and go onward to a greater purpose."
The light blue trim, "If you accept, we shall enter the temple and the process shall begin."
In unison, "Do you accept?"
There was a pause, the man seemed to clench his hands once and release them a few times. Murmurs swept through the crowd, "Is he going to reject it?", "Who would be insane enough to turn this down?", "Is he some kind of idiot?" The murmurs began to grow and grow, "What would the gods think?", "Do you think they'll punish us all because of him?" until finally, a shout had to silence the panic growing from within the crowd.
"I accept!" Itarr shouted, silence growing over the crowd once more as they realized their childish mistake. The four ministers nodded, each of them smiling as they grew closer to the man. They all turned towards the temple entrance, all four of them holding a hand out towards the door and began to chant and chant until finally the door creaked open. The Ministers then entered the temple, escorting Itarr in the midst of them. Once they were inside, the door slammed shut, allowing nobody else entrance.
The audience broke into a cheer once the doors sealed themselves shut. Hugging and clapping others on the back ensued, as if they had all done some great achievement that they had originally thought was possible.
Gai turned to Urani once a majority of the audience had left, kneeling down with a smile as he was finally allowed to speak to answer her question, "They get sent to the temple so they can go be something better, they get to have a better life and serve the gods themselves."
"Oooh," she gasped with amazement, "I wanna go the temple one day too!" she cheered, jumping up to hug Gai, who struggled to hold up the girl that he was only just barely bigger than, "You'll go with me, right?"
"Bull shit," a man with a gruff stubble beard and a cigar bit between his teeth spoke while glaring down at the arena, "You don't want to go there, trust me." The man spat out the tabaco and stamped down on the burning plant harshly, grinding the flames against his foot and the floor harshly to suffocate the flame. His clothing was strange, obviously not from around here as he didn't have the clothes built for the desert lifestyle. His pants were not loose, his shirt's sleeves wrapped around his arms rather than being one blanket like cloth with a hood that one drapes over themselves to protect against the heat. His hairy arms seemed a bit sun burnt, and it was a surprise to the children that the hairs on his arms hadn't burst into flames yet.
Urani gave a squeak of fear of the muscular and gritty man and stopped attempting to cling to Gai to hide behind him instead. Gai huffed and glared at the man, "It's an HONOR to go to the temple! Only the Ministers and Tributes can go there, do you have any idea how difficult it is to be a tribute? You have to go through..." he paused, he didn't really know exactly what to do to become a tribute, "I-It's...It's really hard!"
The man blew some lingering smoke he had been holding in into Gai's face, "You're too young to understand. One day you will, and so will the rest of the fools of this village." He turned, speaking a few final words before departing, "Go back home to your parents and keep cattle-ing on."
Gai growled at the man as he left, only snapping out of his anger when he felt Urani's frightened grip on his hand. He turned to look at the frightened girl, and his face softened as he spoke, "Hey, forget about him, want to go see if old lady Ula threw out some leftovers?"
Urani beamed, and nodded, quickly taking off without warning before calling back to Gai, "Remember the first rule: If you wanna be friends with me, you gotta keep up!"
