NOTE: Alright, so I don't want to make a long boring post, but it is necessary and if I don't people will break the rules and say they didn't know better because it wasn't stated. Now then, if I forget a major rule that you feel is necessary, please let me know. Also, breaking any of these rules will result in either a warning, a suspension, or deletion. Please be mindful of other people and don't be the one to cause problems. Thanks.
Have fun!
SITE RULES
1. No Discriminative Comments No homophobia, no racism, no sexism, ect. If you think it's going to offend someone, don't say it. That being said, if your character is saying it, it's okay, but don't bring any drama to real life.
2. No Spam in the c-box. Don't post links to sex sites, or advertisements in the c-box. This doesn't limit you to a certain amount of posts you can type in a row in the c-box, but also be mindful and try not to overload it with outside links.
3. Keep politics and other sensitive topics out of the c-box. If someone states they are uncomfortable with the topic, please move on or take the topic to pm. We don't want real life fights breaking out.
4. Proboards rules say you must be 13 or older to join.
5. Just be nice. If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all.
6. Don’t give out any personal information over the c-box. If you want tell someone your number or address, that’s on you, but do it over pm. The c-box is public and anyone can see it.
POSTING RULES
1. Everything you post must be in English. I have to monitor everything said, and I only speak English, sorry. If you want to have another character say something in another language make sure to tell us what it means afterwards. (EX. Striker muttered "hola" which meant hello in Spanish.)
2. Everything you post must be PG-13 or under. This is not a role playing site where you can write vivid sex scenes or horribly detailed violence. If you want your characters to have sex, then say they went to their rooms, closed the door and then skip it to the next morning. If you start heading towards too explicit in your romantic scene, the admins will ask you to stop. As for violence, it is okay to have fights and such, but if you start giving vivid details about how a person is hanging by their intestines from the ceiling, the admins will ask you to stop.
3. Please remember you are only allowed to control your own character's reactions. No Power playing. Don't control any characters except your own. You may write as NPCs and if another one of your character is in the thread, you may include their interactions within one characters' post. however, if someone reports you're writing as their character, you will be confronted.
4. All role playing posts must be in 3rd person. This is just to keep a consistency up.
5. No God Modeling or Gary/Mary Sues. This just means don't make your character perfect. Give them some flaws. Give them some fears and give them some realism.
6. You can not kill a character unless you have their permission.
7. Other species such as alien or demons are allowed to explain powers and such, but no vampires or werewolves. Remember if you make your character another species, don't gary/mary sue them and give them weaknesses and flaws!
HERO/VIGILANTE RULES
1. Heroes/Vigilantes must follow all posting and site rules.
2. Heroes/Vigilantes can have powers, but again give them weaknesses and flaws. It's no fun for a bad guys to always lose.
3. Heroes can not kill anyone but Vigilantes can. You will lose your title as a hero if you kill someone. You can of course make plots with a hero that goes through that, but just know you can't be a hero again once you've killed someone.
4. A Hero/Vigilante can save someone from being robbed. The way this works is that if you see someone being robbed, you have 48 hours from the time that the post states the robbery is taking place to intercept. If you intercept, the Criminal/villain has to roll the dice. If multiple criminals/villains are robbing on person, each criminal/villain must roll the dice. An even number means the criminal/villain will get away with the robbery. An odd number means that the criminal/villain will be caught by you. However if you show up after the 48 hours are over, then the robbery might still take place and you can not stop it. A hero/vigilante can not stop a robbery on a villain's territory or the black market.
5. A hero/vigilante can not break into a criminal/villain territory unless the criminal/villain gives you permission.
6. Heroes.Vigilantes can not enter the Black market but may enter the villain bar.
7. Heroes/Vigilantes can not stop villains from breaking out of jail.
8. Heroes/Vigilantes may gain their own territory. You must have at least 30 posts, and have $150 to gain a board territory. You are allowed to request up to 4 additional sub-boards for your territory.
9. Activity Checks will be monthly and will be mandatory to keep your territory. For Heroic/Vigilante Teams, at least one person from the team has to do an activity check. If you miss two activity checks in a row, your territory will be moved to storage. You may redeem it back through the claims. You will have to pay another $150 to reclaim territories.
10. Heroes/Vigilantes can stop robberies of stores/places. If a criminal/villain is not robbing a specific person but rather a specific place or store, a hero/vigilante can intervene. There are two ways they thread can go down. Either you and the criminal/villain can talk about and agree on an outcome, or if it is unplanned, both the hero/vigilante and the criminal/villain must do a dice roll. Whoever has the highest die roll, will win the battle.
11. Heroes/Vigilantes can be robbed. If a criminal/villain enters a thread with your character, they can rob them. This can either be agreed upon and written as agreed, or if unexpected, both the hero/vigilante and criminal/villain have to roll a dice. Whoever has the highest roll will be the one who decides what happens.
CRIMINAL/VILLAIN RULES
1. Criminals/Villains must follow all posting and site rules.
2. Villains can kill character however, the character has to give permission to be killed off. You can make up NPCs to kill off if your character is a murderer/hitman/hitwoman. Criminals do not kill people on purpose or they will be upgraded to villain status.
3. Criminals/Villains can have powers, but again give them weaknesses and flaws. It's no fun for a good guys to never win.
4. Criminals/Villains can rob someone for up to 50 dollars. The way this will work is you can either clear it with a person that you're going to rob them and they can set an amount anywhere from 5 to 50 dollars. If you and the other character agree to the robbery, then no police or hero/vigilante will be involved. OR, criminals/villains can randomly sneak into any post and rob someone for as much as 50 dollars. (Under other place v399) From the time of the robbery, you have to wait two whole days or 48 hours for police or heroes/vigilantes/police to intercept. If this happens and a police or hero/vigilante intercept, then the criminal/villain has to roll the dice to see if they get caught. If multiple criminals/villains are robbing one person, each criminal/villain must roll the dice. An odd number means you get caught and an even number means you get away with the robbery anyway. If no one intercepts during the 48 hours, then the both the criminal/villain and citizen must roll a dice and whoever has the highest roll will determine the outcome.
5. A Criminal/Villain can not enter a hero/vigilante's territory unless the hero/vigilante gives permission.
6. A Criminal/Villain can rob someone who enters their territory or someone on the black market and the police and heroes/vigilantes can not intercept. The robbery is then settled by both people rolling the dice. Whoever has the higher dice number will win. So if the robber wins, they can steal up to 50 dollars or any other item on the person and if the victim wins, they can get away or beat up the robber.
7. Criminals/Villains can hire other criminals/villains to break them out of jail. Criminals/Villains will have to pay 50 dollars to have someone break them out of jail.
8. Criminals/Villains may gain their own territory. You must have at least 30 posts, and have $150 to gain a board territory. You are allowed to request up to 4 additional sub-boards for your territory.
9. Activity Checks will be monthly and will be mandatory to keep your territory. For Villainous/Criminal Teams, at least one person from the team has to do an activity check. If you miss two activity checks in a row, your territory will be moved to storage. You may redeem it back through the claims. You will have to pay another $150 to reclaim territories.
10. Criminals/Villains can rob stores/places. There are two ways they thread can go down. Either you and the hero/vigilante/police can talk about and agree on an outcome, or if it is unplanned, both the hero/vigilante/police and the criminal/villain must do a dice roll. Whoever has the highest die roll, will win the battle.
11. Criminals/Villains can rob other Criminals/Villains. Both must roll a dice and determine who will get away with it by the highest dice roll.
12. Criminals/Villains can rob Heroes/Vigilantes. Both must roll a dice and determine who wins by highest dice roll.
13. Criminals/Villains can rob Police. Both must roll a dice and determine who will win by highest dice roll.
14. Criminals/Villains can rob Crimilante/Vigins. Both must roll a dice and determine who wins by highest dice roll.
15. Criminals/Villains can rob Hillians/Criminoes. Both must roll a dice and determine who wins by highest dice roll.
16. Crimilante/Vigins/Hillians/Ciminoes can arrest you on your territory. They have to plan it with your character first, or roll a dice where the numbers 1-4 are in your favor and means you can fight them back successfully, but 5-6 means they're successful at arresting you.
17. Crimilantes/Vigins/Hillians/Criminoes can arrest you in the underground criminal city/black market. They have to either plan out the end result with you, or you have to roll a dice. 1-5 means the dice is in your favor and you can successfully fight back and defeat them, but a 6 means they can arrest you.
CITIZEN/POLICE RULES
1. All citizens/police must follow posting and site rules.
2. Citizens can be robbed at any time except if posting on a hero/vigilante territory. If you are being robbed while posting on a criminal/villain territory or while in a black market, you will have to roll the dice. If your roll is higher than the robbers, you can get away or beat up the robber. If it's lower, the robber will decide on what they take. If you are robbed in a citizen area, heroes/vigilantes and police can intercept the robbery. They will have up to 48 hours from the time the robbery is posted to respond and save you. If 48 hours pass and no one saves you, then you and the criminal/villain will roll a dice to determine the outcome. The last way you can be robbed is by agreeing to a robbery with a criminal/villain beforehand and you can set the price they rob you for from anywhere between 5 to 50 dollars. Robbers can't take more than 50 dollars at a time.
3. If you are a police officer you can stop robberies. The way this works is that if you see someone being robbed, you have 48 hours from the time that the post states the robbery is taking place to intercept. If you intercept, the criminal/villain has to roll the dice. If multiple criminals/villains are robbing one person, each criminal/villain must roll the dice. An even number means the criminal/villain will get away with the robbery. An odd number means that the criminal/villain will be caught by you. However if you show up after the 48 hours are over, then the robbery will take place and you can not stop it. A police officer can not stop a robbery on a criminal/villain's territory or the black market.
4. Police can enter a criminal/villain's territory but can not arrest them in their territory.
5. Police can not stop criminal/villains from breaking out of jail.
6. Citizens/Police may gain their own house after a certain while of being active. You must have at least 30 posts, and have $150 to gain a board house. You are allowed to request up to 4 additional sub-boards for your house.
7. Activity Checks will be monthly and will be mandatory to keep your house. If you miss two activity checks in a row, your house will be moved to storage. You may redeem it back through the claims. You will have to pay another $150 to reclaim territories.
8. Police can stop robberies of stores/places. If a criminal/villain is not robbing a specific person but rather a specific place or store, a police officer can intervene. There are two ways the thread can go down. Either you and the criminal/villain can talk about and agree on an outcome, or if it is unplanned, both the police and the criminal/villain must do a dice roll. Whoever has the highest roll, will win the battle.
9. Police can be robbed. If you are being robbed you have to roll a dice and determine who wins with the highest roll.

An even number means the criminal/villain will get away with the robbery. An odd number means that the criminal/villain will be caught by you. However if you show up after the 48 hours are over, then the robbery will take place and you can not stop it. However you can turn around and rob the person right after you stopped the robbery. If you are robbing a person, the way this will work is you can either clear it with a person that you're going to rob them and they can set an amount anywhere from 5 to 50 dollars. If you and the other character agree to the robbery, then no police or hero/vigilante will be involved.
