One of the books on the table, An Introduction to Parapsychology, was practically glued to Kieran's face. The old book was hard-bound with a beautiful dark cover. For some reason, this subject was fascinating. Probably due to the fact that he had empathy. Said power was currently being shoved down into his mind and blocking it off with a weak shield. Not to mention Kieran was a huge book-lover. Look at the stacks of the book on the oak table for example.
Different kinds of books were stacked into five different piles, and Kieran was flipping through them like no tomorrow, an expression of child-ish delight on his face. Oh, how he loved soaking in all the information. Included with his empathic powers was an eidetic ability that he used very eagerly. The book he was reading though, An Introduction to Parapsychology, fascinated him to no end, so he was reading it fairly slowly.
