Special Skills: Ember was raised in a circus and learned the art of contortionism and tight rope walking. She is very flexible and has extremely good balance.
Appearance: Ember has long brown hair and green eyes. She has child-like features and is very small and light on her feet. She if often wearing shorts and tank top or her Strike Out uniform. She wears her hair up for trainings and missions, and down when she's relaxing. She usually keeps one watch (the communicator) on her right wrist, but often forgets the second watch to tell time on her left.
Personality: Ember has a very uptight and almost reckless personality. She is sometimes very naïve. She feels self conscious about her size and often feels like she has to act more grown up than she is to make up for the fact she's so small. She follows in Striker's footsteps a lot because she highly looks up to him. She is sometimes very impulsive and rash when Striker is not around. She has some rebellious teen in her though that makes her feel sneaky when she does little things such as drink energy drinks without Striker's knowledge. She does care a lot about people, but feels like people who are older than her should be able to take care of themselves. She's slightly ignorant in the sense that she assumes if she can do it, everyone can, and therefore gets annoyed when others have difficulty following her lead with things.
Background: Ember was raised in a traveling circus with Striker and her parents. Her mother left when she was very young, and eventually her father died from alcohol poisoning. She was always tightly knit with her brother Striker and did many performances with Striker in the circus. When their father died, Striker and her ran away together and quickly got into the habit of stealing. Striker taught Ember everything he knew and Ember trusted him to get her through everything. Eventually Striker started up the Strike Out team after acquiring the members Reiner and Conner. Ember has always felt at home with criminals and feels this is supposed to be her life style. She has never questioned whether she should be a criminal or not.
Other facts:
*Ember can't read or write.
*Ember sometimes will make up long elaborate stories that she records in her tape recorder to play back later. She's never shown anyone the stories though because she fears they'll call it childish.
*Ember enjoys singing, but only does so in the shower because she doesn't know of any criminal that enjoys singing.
*Ember likes to drink energy drinks right before a training or a mission to give her an extra boast, but she keeps this information from Striker who would disapprove.
Fears:
*Ember is afraid of developing diabetes. Even though she drinks energy drinks, Ember has a phobia that she'll develop diabetes and fall into a diabetic coma and die.
*Ember's afraid of surgeries. She's never had to have a surgery in her life but she is afraid one day she'll have something wrong with her and they'll have to preform surgery on her and she'll die from it.
*Ember fears abandonment. She's afraid one day everyone she knows will just get up and leave her alone. She especially fears that Striker will somehow be taken away from her or that he will leave her.
